Small systems that make work easier to see.

ShedDad Tech finds the awkward hand-offs in a small business, builds one understandable fix and proves it works before anything goes live.

A written fit check comes first. No credentials or customer data are needed to start.

Named builderYou deal directly with Richard.

Written boundaryScope and access are agreed first.

Evidence before launchAwkward cases are tested safely.

What I do

Useful automation, without the theatre.

The starting point is a real operational snag—not a promise to replace a team with AI.

01

Fixed-scope pilot

Rescue website enquiries

Make an existing form or inbox route observable, so a lead cannot quietly disappear between tools.

02

Practical systems

Map and simplify hand-offs

Turn a fuzzy process into a visible route with owners, states, failure cases and a small operating note.

03

Field notes

Show the work honestly

Build notes document what was tested, what failed and what remains a proposal—without invented outcomes.

How the work runs

Four checkpoints. No mystery box.

You can always see what is known, what is proposed and what still needs your approval.

  1. 01

    Fit check

Describe the current snag in plain English.

  2. 02

    Written map

Agree the boundary, access and acceptance checks.

  3. 03

    Safe test

Use synthetic cases to prove the route and its failures.

  4. 04

    Approve and hand over

You decide what goes live and receive operating notes.

Selected work

Real things, with visible boundaries.

Some are commercial offers; others are live products or working experiments. The label tells you which.

Who is behind it

A named builder, not an anonymous “AI agency”.

I’m Richard, the person behind ShedDad Tech in Maidenhead. I use automation in my own working systems, but keep a human at the important points: scope, access, testing, approval and handover.

The standard is simple: say what was observed, show what was tested and label what is still only an idea.

Where does the work become hard to see?

Send a short outline. No work starts and no system changes happen without a separate agreement.
